Michael Flynn is the link between Cambridge Analytica scandal and the Russia Gate.

Born in 1958, Flynn career began in the US Army. He had several jobs: initially, he played a key role in shaping U.S. counterterrorism strategy in Afghanistan and Iraq and, later, he became the 18th Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency; after leaving the military, he established Flynn Intel Group, which provided intelligence services for business companies and governments. He became a senior advisor to Trump during his presidential campaign and served as the National Security Advisor from January 23rd to February 13th, 2017. He had to resign after information surfaced that he had misled the FBI and Vice President Mike Pence about the nature and content of his communications with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Flynn’s tenure of just 24 days is the shortest in National Security office’s history.
